Not all are problems, as Revuelta, F.I. and Guerra (2012) states, video games can lead to implicit learning related to the development of capacities such as problem solving and the promotion of deductive reasoning, as long as it is accompanied by training. C. R. González et al., (2018) point out that there are online video games in which the skills related to solving problems of logical and mathematical organization, as well as visuospatial skills, are more relevant. This aspect makes them optimal settings for learning. The same authors verified that some games of a competitive nature used systematically, produced a generalized qualitative and quantitative improvement of the logical-mathematical intelligence of the subjects.

On the other hand, McGonigal (2011) cited by CR González et al., (2018) considers that multiplayer games promote teamwork and collective learning, enhancing the development of social skills and motivating players to adopt an active role. The same author points out that in most esports the performance of the game prevails over cooperative play since the members of each team must make consensual decisions. This aspect indicates that they can serve as a tool to promote cooperative learning based on decision-making as a result of prior reflection, comparative analysis and anticipation of the consequences derived from it. At the same time, they help to understand the importance of the role’s players must take to be effective.

Continuing with this line, C. R. González et al., (2018), points out that video games such as League of Legends promote group play, creativity and mental agility, where it is only possible to win if there is real cooperation between the players. This author outstands that the decision-making process involves a complex cognitive activity that involves both; an increase in the capacity to evaluate different alternatives to perform a task, as well as the justification and reasoning of the selected option.

Finally, it should be noted that some video games can help simulate decision-making and make their repercussions visible, with which the player learns to redirect its game in new games, adopting the best decisions to reduce the negative impacts of previously made mistakes.
